Anyway, let’s start with my Chinese New Year first. This year was slightly different from every other CNY I have ever experience. Sure, it was hectic and involved going back to Ipoh, receiving lots of angpau, which I have to say is reducing and it doesn’t make sense why people give the older kids less angpau money compared to the younger kids who depends on their parents for everything. But the difference this year, beside the fact that my angpau money decreased, was that I fell ill, specifically I was coughing my lungs out and the whole crap that comes along with it. I even had a fever on the third day of CNY. I guess, that’s what you get when you eat a lot of ‘heaty’ stuff and don’t drink enough water. Overall, I guess my CNY was fine.
Now, moving on to the second issue. My sister just started her internship and abandoned me. She is now forced to the life of sleeping and waking up early. Though I have to say, she is failing miserably at both sleeping and waking up early. So, now life is a little boring with her not being around during the day and her not accompanying me when I watch shows to the middle of the night. But on the bright side, I can use the computer/laptop all I want and listen to weird/interesting stories about work life. *inserts creepy orchestra music and evil laughter (applies to the part where I get to use the laptop all the time)*
Thirdly, I just found out the date that the SPM results is coming out. I’m not really confirmed if it’s true but according to Hallie (who heard from someone else), it is on the 12th of March. It is approximately three weeks from today. I have to say that it sucks knowing that, because from time to time, I’ll just suddenly think back about it and regret/nervous (but only for a brief moment before I go back to normal and it’s like the whole thing didn’t even happen). But that aside, I’ll be able to meet my friends/classmate/schoolmate/favourite teachers when I go back to school that dreadful day while getting that dreadful result sheet. That fact itself is calming. So, I guess I’ll survive, hopefully.
But all those boring details aside, my life’s been ok. I’ve been shopping a lot, which I believe is a bad thing for my poor, poor wallet that is beginning to resemble an anorexia patient (from a regular person).
