The End Of My Freedom

That’s right. On last Monday, I lost my freedom. But before you go and think up of nonsensical crap like I’m getting married(Pfft!!! I like to see that day) or dying(CHOI!! Touch wood!!), I would like to clarify my version of freedom. And that is the freedom to do nothing but laze around, the freedom to watch tv all day with no regrets, the freedom to sleep at the time no normal person should be awake and the freedom to wake up well into the afternoon.

In other words, I’m going to go to college. A dreadful thing, don’t you think?

I’ve been going to college for the past week now, for my orientation week. And if I have to say that I’m a little freaked out, that would be an understatement, because I’m VERY freaked out. Maybe it’s because I’ve not been in a school for half a year now –taking the SPM results does not count– or maybe because I’ve not been that socially active since school(besides meeting my bestie from time to time) and now being thrown into a place where I have to make friends freaks me out a little. Either way, I’m freaked.

But my sister has continuously told me that it will all be better soon. It’s a phase most people go through and that she had it worse than me, which is unfortunately, undoubtedly true. So, I guess if she can do it, why can’t I?

But I guess I should set up some rules for myself for college.

Here it goes:
1. No skipping class as I like. There are grave consequences to pay. Must remember that!!!
2. Have a more normal sleeping habit.
3. Practice my miserable Chinese. Don’t let all the crap that I went through just to study Chinese go to waste.
4. Be more hardworking and stop procrastinating!!! Very important!!!

Yup, I guess that’s it. I cannot think of anything else. Well, if there is anything else, I’ll just add it in later. Though I highly doubt it.

The Actual Trip

This is something long overdue. I’ve finally decided to get off my lazy butt, write the darn thing and get on with life. So, here goes.

I’ve been on two vacations in the past month. Both going to the same place, Port Dickson. You must now be wondering something along the lines of “It’s only Port Dickson. Big deal. Why does she need to write a blog post specifically for it?” Well, I have to say that I agree with you. It’s only Port Dickson. But what I want to write about it is not the location of my trip but rather where I stayed during my stay there.

While I was there for both the trips, I stayed in the Legend Water Chalet and it was amazing. It didn’t feel like I was in Port Dickson at all. Here are the pictures as proof, since I have no idea how to really explain it.

But before I continue with the pictures. I would like to clear that the reason I went there twice is not that I’m insane but rather because my body hates me. Yup, you read right, my body hates me. So, I had to go for the second time to enjoy the trip properly.

Now, for the long awaited pictures.

This is the first thing I saw when I entered the room. It was so cool that I jumped on it. Childish thing to do, I know.

This is the shower...

...and this is the shower's view. All you have to do is lift your head up and you get to see the beautiful view of the great blue sky.

The amazing bathtub.

The beds.

The amazing view.

The place is really awesome and while I was there I noticed that Legend is building a Water Home next to the Water Chalet. And from what I saw, each unit will have their own personal pool. Cool!!

And that concludes my blog this time. Will blog about my adorable hamsters soon. Can't live with them, can't live without them.

The Trip

Just few hours ago, I was having dinner with my family to celebrate a belated mother’s day. The entire dinner was nice, smooth sailing and nothing could ruin the day. But apparently, I was wrong. Because on my way out, I tripped and ended up on my hands and knee. (Haha.. I'm so punny)

Maybe because of old(-er) age and not so used to falling down anymore, but man, did it hurt. And I’m not talking physically, I mean my pride too. So embarrassing!! But I guess I’ll live. I mean, if I lived through it most of my life, I don’t think this time will kill me. At least I hope not. Haha.. Touch wood!!

But seriously, after learning that technique to not falling at ten, I cannot believe I tripped. But then again, I guess I’m doing quite good for someone who is a total hopeless klutz(when younger). I mean, I’ve only fallen twice(including this time) and only ALMOST fall most of the time.

Oh well, I guess old habits really die hard.

Hammies!!!!

It's been two weeks since Chairo's death and we finally got two new hamsters. We got them on Saturday and all I can say is that they are extremely adorable!! They are both girls. We've come to a stage where we can identify a roborovski's gender better than the people selling them.

We have also settled on their names, which would be Winter Wong Shiro and Melon Wong Lan Fan. Together they are WInter Melon!! Adorable, isn't it??

But like all our other hammies, we decided to give them a middle names too. Like for Winter, Shiro is Japanese for white which is the colour of snow (we settled for Japanese since the chinese one sounded funny. I cannot imagine my hammie being called Winter Wong Bak Sek or Lok Shuet. So weird!).

On the other hand, Melon is called Lan Fan since she's a PIG!! Ever since we bought her back, she's been sleeping like non-stop, even if we slowly poke her head while she's sleeping, she would just scratch her head where we poke her. So CUTE!! But lazy..

Here's a couple of pictures I took of them.

The first picture I took of them. Aren't they just adorable??!!!!

Winter is the one on the left while Melon is the one on the right. They are both pigs. So cute!!
